Not all jewellery is equal
Most jewellery sold online in Morocco is plated brass: a thin layer of colour over ordinary metal. It comes off within weeks in Casablanca's humidity, and the skin turns green. Stainless steel doesn't degrade. It costs more to produce. It lasts for years.
